Would you like a water meter installed at your property? 


Most buildings that have undergone construction will have a meter installed at the property, however if you receive a bill and notice on the statement that your account is "non-metered" we can help you get one installed at your property!


If you have a meter installed at your property you will be billed every 1-2 months, instead of every six months, so there will be more payments, but they will be smaller. Some owners do not like to make one payment every six months as it can affect their monthly disbursement for that month. 


Additionally, you will be billed for exact usage at your property instead of an estimated amount. For some this has proven to be a cost savings, but please be mindful that it is not a guarantee as it depends on those occupying the unit and their usage level. 


How do I sign up?

Email Owner Services, and they will reach out to the appropriate team member in the Utilities Department.


What will it cost me?

Nothing! Having a meter installed on your property is fee of charge. 


Do I need to be current on my water bill?

Yes, you will need to have your account paid in full before they will allow us to schedule an appointment. 


How soon can I have the meter installed?

The MeterSave program schedules on a first come, first serve basis, so it can vary from a couple weeks to a couple months before they can make it out to the property. 



What are the benefits of having a water meter?

  • Bill for water actually used.
  • Notify customers of possible leaks.
  • Upon request we can obtain past data that is stored on meter for up to two years. This data may be helpful to understand consumption patterns.
